O.J. is survived by his wife Barb, his children Michelle Zerbin, Charlene (Benjamin) VandenBrink, Jason (Jenna) Zerbin, Marc (Kelly) Zerbin, Cherisse Zerbin and Krista Zerbin, his sister Karen Guenther, and his eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, John Zerbin, and his mother Heidi Zerbin of Rollyview, AB.

A viewing will be held on April 24 at 9:15 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:30 AM at Calvary Community Church, 8704 Millwoods Road, Edmonton.

There will be a burial at Rosehill Cemetery at 11:00 AM on April 25.

Dear Barb and Family,
Working under OJ at the church was easy. He was always bright and cheerful with a ready smile. A man of love, trustworthy in all things and thoughtful towards each and every person.
He made difficult things, easier.
We are so sorry for your loss, and yet, rejoice he is safe at last in the loving arms of Jesus.

My condolences to the family of Pastor O.J. Zerbin.
We were classmates in the Edmonton Police 1975 recruit training class, and I remember him as a cheerful and well-liked member. He will always be missed by his many friends and Church family.

Much like King David, Pastor OJ Zerbin was a Man after God’s own heart.
OJ loved the Lord and he loved people.
We’ll never know on this side of eternity just how many souls will be in Heaven because of the seeds OJ helped plant in their hearts with his caring, kind and gentle character, words and deeds.
I will always remember the cautious words of wisdom spoken in love by OJ in a number of his sermons, to spur us on in our faith journey.
“If you are casual about your faith you will become a casualty”.
Orville Zerbin will surely be missed by all who were blessed to have known him and by all those from our Church family who share his same faith in the risen Lord Jesus.
We so look forward though to our glorious reunion together in our Heavenly Home in the presence of The Only True God and his Son Jesus.
Thank you Pastor Zerbin for finishing strong.
An encouragement and a testimony of a life well lived as a servant to The Lord and your fellow man.

We have lost an amazing godly man who led his life exactly as he preached. He spoke with conviction, and spoke truth. He loved and lived, Jesus. He was a hero and example to so many and he will never know the full impact his life had. He was loyal to his family and his faith. He never wavered. We mourn here because it hurts, but we know it is just for a short time because we will see him again. I can see him now, hands raised high, worshipping Jesus and rejoicing! We were blessed to have known Pastor OJ, a pastor, friend and father to so many.

Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
