Tony was born to Waselena and Karp Zajes on the farm homestead in the Creekland area, west of Genesee.

Tony is survived by his sister Mary Racz, sister Margaret Webber and his brother Karl Zajes.

Tony was predeceased by two older sisters, Annie Peterson and Tillie Melnik and one younger brother, Stanley Zajes.

Tony lived on the family farm with his parents until their passing, then lived with and was lovingly cared for by his sister Margaret.  Tony then lived at the Breton Long Term Care Centre for the last five years.  They also provided exceptional care for him.

Margaret prepared Tony’s favorite food for him which was delivered to him weekly.

Tony loved the farm life and farm animals.  He provided special care for them and enjoyed all farm work.  Tony very much enjoyed going to rodeos during the summer with his brother Karl.

I did not know my uncle Tony very well. When i knew him i was only around 9 years old. What i do remember was his kind smile to this day. I remember him when i was young, wanting to play with me and make me laugh. I connected with him a couple times during my life as i respected him as my fathers brother and my uncle. My wife and i were very fortunate to visit and spend time with him at his last moments with us. I know he is with god and he’s happy. I wish all of our family and Tonys friends condolences….

To all the Zajes Family our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Tony had many people who loved and took good care of him. Wish we could be at the service but have to work. Hugs to all

This is such a beautiful picture of our uncle/great uncle. I will never forget jumping out of the car and running with him to see newborn animals on the farm as I grew up. So glad to go with him and Uncle Karl to rodeos as well. Rest in peace dear uncle. And you will be missed. Love Big S and Little S.
