William Paul Smith


On January 26, 2019, William Paul Smith of Edmonton passed away at the age of 77 years, surrounded by his family.

Paul wanted to share the following: “I thanked God every day for my wife Lillian, children Nadine (Dale), Jason and Carlyn, and my grandchildren Nathan and Grace, as well as my many good friends, musicians and fishing buddies. I have many times looked up and thanked God for my many blessings and for a blonde woman named Lillian who made all of this work.”

Born in Winnipeg, Paul is also survived by his sister Janet, and brother Henry. He was predeceased by his brother Philip and parents Rose and Philip.

At Paul’s request, there will be no funeral.

Lillian and Family: So sorry for your loss. I was neighbour’s to Clarence & Terry Newman. I used to run into Paul the occasional time at Northlands, if he was smiling the “Jugheads” were winning that day. Take care.
