Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

Ed and Sally Koehn

Dear Laurie and Chad, and Michael,

We have precious memories of both your father and mother. Ed grew up at Bonnie Doon Baptist Church and was part of the youth group in those early days. When we went to work in Brazil, Lyle and Tina were part of our support team. Each furlough we had the joy of visiting with them. Two years ago when we visited with Lyle, we met him for coffee at the nearby mall. And then we went back to his apartment and saw again the many beautiful petite pointe your dear mother did….lovingly displayed on the walls. Lyle asked us to choose a picture. We have an oval autumn scene hanging in our study where we see it each day and consider it a treasured gift of love.
We thank God for your parents and their loving interest and care for us. We know you miss them dearly. I’m often reminded of Psalm 16:11 when I think of our parents in Heaven: “In His presence is fullness of joy. At His right hand there are pleasures forever more.” This is what they along with your parents are enjoying because they each one put their hope and faith in the living Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior.
We will be praying for you and the grandchildren as you experience this loss and we pray for God’s comfort and peace for you. In His great love, Ed and Sally Koehn, Chattanooga, TN.
