Wilfred Grenzberg went to be with the Lord peacefully at Good Samaritan Care Home in Edmonton. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and teacher, as well as a talented organist/pianist in the Mennonite Brethren Church, where he met his wife Elsa Janzen. He taught in the St. Catharines ON school district for over 30 years. He taught all subjects, eventually specializing in French, German and English at the High School level. He organized and guided tours for students and adults to many European countries. He was a talented photographer, flower arranger and enthusiastic cook, loved skiing, and had a deep curiosity for many subjects. Pre-deceased by his eldest son Tom and sister Ursula Heidebrecht. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elsa; sons Willy, Paul, James, Steven; daughter-in-law Terry, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial service will take place on Tuesday, June 27 at 1:00 pm at Lendrum Mennonite Brethren Church, 11210 59 Ave. NW, Edmonton AB, (780-434-4268)
