WHITING, Frederick Cecil

With a deep sense of loss, our family announces the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Fred Whiting on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 90.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean married for 65 years, children Ken (Julie), Carol (Gordon); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, 7 nephews and a countless number of great friends.

Fred was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Charlotte Whiting and his brother William
Whiting and his wife Norma.

Viewing will occur for family on Thursday November 12, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm at Serenity Funeral Services located at 5311 – 91 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Cremation is to occur after viewing with a Funeral Service to be held at a later date.

The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their kindness, support and care shown to Fred during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Trinity Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice.
