On February 1, 2021, David put away his rifles, packed away his tackle box and answered the call to God, and has gone home to be with his family.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard and mother, Alita as well as his brothers and sisters.
David leaves behind his wife Shirley, his children: Richard White, Lisa Hawryluk (Gary) and Alita Storms (Joe). His grandchildren: Nakita (Matt), Kaitlyn, Chelsy and Lydia, and many family members in Corner Brook Newfoundland, as well as across Canada.
As a man of faith, David was a dedicated husband, father, poppa and brother. He was a proud member of the Local 488 Union for over 40 years, and of course he loved the outdoors.
David is at peace with the Lord after a short battle with cancer.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held. The following link is provided for livestreaming of the service, on Friday February 5th, at 11:30. https://distantlink.com/SerenityES.html
The family would like to thank you to all who helped our family during this time and especially to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital at station 5F4.
Memorial Donations in David’s name will be graciously accepted at:
