WARD, (Bernier) Ginette Irene

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ginette Ward announces her passing on March 22, 2022, at 78 years of age.

Ginette is survived by her loving and caring husband of 56 years Fred Ward.
In all their years together, they enjoyed many trips across the globe. She especially cherished their trip to Europe in 2019 while on a river cruise. Ginette and Fred had many wonderful travel adventures with Princess Cruises. She also enjoyed their various road trips by car, bus tours and with the Gold Wing Club. She was always interested in seeing new places and meeting new people, Fred was the driver and Ginette was his co-pilot.

Ginette will be cherished with love by her three daughters: Nancy (Mike), Nathalie (Rob) and Annick (Grant). Ginette and her girls shared many amazing times together including an Alaskan cruise and countless scrapbooking weekends. There were many family gatherings such as holidays, birthdays, BBQs, “happy hour “that will be fondly remembered.
Ginette enjoyed playing canasta, reading, afternoons at the casino and spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her five grandchildren: Sidney (Braden), Jesse, Emlyn, Courtney, and Alec. They all had a special place in her heart.

Cremation has taken place.

A private celebration of Life for Ginette will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial donation in Ginette’s honour to your charity of choice.
