It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a very special man, Victor Herbert Timmins, at the age of 87 years. Vic will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Jackie; his daughter Sherrill Anderson (Dale) of Osoyoos, BC, his son Blair Timmins (Paula) of Jasper, AB; his grandsons Darren Anderson (Michelle) of Canmore, AB and Warren Anderson of Fort St John, BC; his great granddaughter Kahlen Anderson of Canmore, AB; his sisters Audrilla (Timmi) Fitzgerald of Chicago, Illinois, Audre Gilchrist of Regina, SK, and Gertrude (Trudy) Titerle of Vancouver, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Edith Timmins; his sister and brother-in-law Lenore and Richard Kroening and his brother-in-law Ruel Gilchrist.
Vic had a zest for life and will be lovingly remembered for his generous heart, zest for life and his sense of humor. He crossed paths with many in his days forming friendships wherever he went. He worked for Haliburton Oilwell Services for 35 years across the prairies, settling at Pigeon Lake to enjoy sailing, and his love of building and flying model airplanes.
