Linda Diane VANDE VOORDE

During the early hours of Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Linda Diane Vande Voorde, long-time resident of Drayton Valley area, passed away at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 70 years. Linda will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband Cecil; her daughter, Tammy Fairservice (Dave); her sons Allen Bauman (Eren) and Marty Bauman (Maricar); her grandchildren, Haley, Karli, Tyler, Raeann, and Zannah; her sisters, Sharon Cook (Ralph), Marlene Cartier (Wade), Darlene Grottenberg and brother, Stan Tugwell; her nieces and nephews, Scott, Kim, Sharal, Crystal, Danette, Nicole, Curtis, Peter, Kerri, Patty, Jody, Pam, Hope and Joshua as well as numerous extended family on the Vande Voorde and Bauman sides. She is predeceased by her parents, Howard and Dorothy Tugwell, her nephew Storm Schatz and great nephew, Storm Schatz. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Madsen and all the medical staff that had a hand in Linda’s care throughout her illness. A Celebration of Life will be held at Falun Community Hall, Falun Alberta, on June 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with internment to follow at Dalby Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made directly to the Lupus Foundation, 615 Davis Drive, Suite 306, Newmarket, ON, L3Y 2R2. Condolences may be sent to www.serenity.ca
