Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

Donna Ritter

We are very sad to hear of Erna’s passing. My son, Sam Ritter, was lucky enough to have Erna as his “Planeview Buddy” during his Grade 5 year, with Willow Park School. He absolutely LOVED going to see her and chatting with her. We always heard all about Erna, every evening after it had been a Planeview visit day. I am so thankful that he had the opportunity to know such a lovely lady. Please accept our sincere condolences. ~ The Ritter Family

Dear Carol, Eldon and family & Myron and family;

We want to send our dear condolences in the passing of your mother and grandmother.
What a blessing to have her for so many years. We know she is in a better place and we pray that God will bring you comfort and peace in this time of greaving. I have many memories of coming to the Ohlmann farm. Carol I will never forget the bridal shower you had for me at your house. Great hospitality. God bless you all. Love to you.

Dear Carol, Eldon, Myron, Sherry & Families,

Sending my condolences to you all at this sad time of losing your Mom and Grandma. It is always hard to let those we love go, even though we know she is in a much better place. What a reunion and time of rejoicing took place in Heaven when she arrived last Saturday.

After hearing of Aunt Erna’s passing, so many wonderful memories came back to me of growing up across the road from the Ohlmann’s. I remember our family walking over during snow storms to play pool and table hockey and Aunt Erna having snacks all ready for us. Denese and I would ride our bikes over, sometimes more than once a day and she would always have Kool-Aid and home baked cookies. She never tired of us showing up for visits and if she did, she did not let on.
There are too many memories to share in writing.
Even though I moved away to BC and did not see her very often, she will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Deb Fillenberg
