It is with sorrow we announce the passing of Tim Sarich. Tim leaves behind his wife Audrey of 48 years. Their marriage can be an inspiration to all of us. They were happy, travelled the world together, and thoroughly enjoyed 20 years of retirement together. Tim loved and was entirely successful at being the best Grandfather possible to his grandchildren Ethan and Riley. His grandchildren from his daughter Megan and son-in-law Bill were his favourite pastime. He was extremely proud of his daughter and son-in-law. He was also proud of his son Darren and loved his new daughter-in-law Cheyenne.
Both Tim and Audrey taught school for 30 years in Saskatchewan and inspired thousands of children to go on to many diverse and meaningful lives. Lloydminster, Redvers, and Meadow Lake represented the bulk of their careers.
Tim also leaves behind sisters Phyllis (Ron), Joan (Ernie), Helene (Bob), Toni (Clark), Michele (Bill), and Charlene (Ken). Tim motivated his many nieces and nephews in the world of math and science and had time for them all.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 – Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton on Monday June 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim’s memory to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton Alberta who did their very best to provide world class treatment.
