PYWELL, Edward ‘Ted’ Arthur Hardwick Chesterton Pywell
Edward died peacefully Monday, December 19, 2016, with his family at his bedside in Dr. Zetter Nursing Home where he had resided for four plus years.
He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 16, 1928. He was known as Ted for most of his life. Ted lived in Victoria, B.C. and came to live in Edmonton when he was 14 years old.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Helen; children: Sandy (Shirley), and Leslie-Jean Fluet; grandchildren: Justin (Melanie), Jacqueline and Heather Decksheimer; great-grandchildren: Evynne Pywell, Emilee and Cole Bradet, sisters-in-law Jean (Charlie) Sherwood, Elma Shennan, Marian Shennan as well as nieces and nephews.
Ted is predeceased by his son Edward Allan in 1972; his brother Reg; sister Doreen; parents Ernest and Edith Pywell.
A very special thank you to all the staff at the Zetter Care Center for all their care, attention and thoughtfulness shown to Eddie during his stay there.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on January 9th, 2017, at 10:00 am at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton.
