Dear Margie,
Sending you and your lovely family
heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your
beautiful and vibrant mother. Her glowing smile is etched in my memory. I will always appreciate the refuge your mother extended to me as I settled into Edmonton
many, many years ago. May your sorrow be replaced with fond memories of your mother; especially when you garden, bake and cook. Much love, Cathy

My deepest sympathy to the whole family for this great loss. I am thinking of you particularly today as you all gather in Sherwood Park to remember Tannis Betts. Her life was long and she brought love and pleasure to so many over the years – my parents and myself included. When Madeleine first met your family I was also living in Edmonton and Tannis welcomed me to all family events and made me feel part of your loving clan – even as an “outlaw”!! To me this represented her generosity of spirit. May her passing bring relief to her after some years of ill health, and to you all as you mark her passing.
