STUBBS (nee Miller), Ann Marie

1939 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ann on May 27, 2021, in Edmonton at the age of 82 years.

Ann was born in Ontario and moved to Alberta in 1957. Her love of life is what we will hold dear. The laughter, bright smile, and twinkle in the eye. Her small but mighty attitude that kept her fighting until the end. This beautiful lady loved the years she spent serving the public at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Course. She loved volunteering, knitting, reading, movies, music and dancing. She loved being outdoors most of all. Our memories of her are endless and will stay with us always.

She will forever be remembered by her children: Susan (Don) and Ken (Wendy), her grandchildren: Sheri (Robert), Donna (Louis), Brad (Lindsay) and three great grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by the father of her children John, her parents: Hap and Adeline and three brothers: Ted, Norm and Earl.

Mom your journey on this earth is done, but we know your spirit is soaring and free at last.

The family would also like to thank Joan for her friendship and care of Ann and our family along this journey for the last five years.

We would also like to extend a special Thank you to the wonderful staff who cared so much for Ann for five and a half years.

In lieu of Flowers please find a local Dementia society to support.

The family is having a private cremation and service.
