The wind is blowing softly
through the trees
A gentle breeze to carry you
where you should be
To meet the family gone before
Who will gather you in their embrace
Rest in peace, Steven

It’s an unbelievable thing to go through – the death of a loved one at such a young age. When I heard the news – I was shocked. I still feel like it can’t really be true.
I remember when Steven lived with us for a short time – we would have debates at the supper table and he would always just laugh and concede – telling me he pitied my future husband because there was no way to win an argument with me. He never gave up – and it made for an interesting dinner hour.
One of my favorite memories of Steven was a song he used to sing to annoy my brother – and of course – it became a song I’d sing to annoy him, too. I sang that song to my brother up until he passed away- much to his dismay. I can still hear Steven singing, “Jay-Jo-Jeans and his jelly beans…” In fact – he is probably with my brother – singing it now.
I hope that wherever you are Steven – you are in peace.
I can’t believe that Steven is gone – and I am so sorry for your loss Aunt Shirley, Ken, Natasha and Matthew. My thoughts are with you all.
XOXO
