STEIL, Ellen Ailene

April 9, 1947 – May 17, 2021

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our Mom, G’ma, GG and Friend, who passed away unexpectantly at the age of 74.

She will be forever missed and remembered by her daughters: Debbie, Dawn (David) and Nicole; four grandchildren: Ryan (Jamie), Cory (Miranda), Paige (Brett) and Kaleigh; three great
grandchildren: Ella, Asher and Skylee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Ellie was predeceased by her husband Marvin; her mom and step-dad Raylene & Tom and her dad Henry.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to everyone who has reached out during this sad time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If friends and family so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

I had the honour of getting to know Ellie just before she retired. Working alongside her work partner of 20 years, Gloria, was an education in itself. Ellie’s great sense of humour, and no nonsense approach was most welcome. She spoke highly of her family, and her husband, Marv. Her memory will live on at this desk. Condolences to all her family.
