Dushyanthan Somasundrarajah was a loving husband to Sarangerel Lamjav and a caring father of his three children, Vijay, Cissi and Temo Dushyanthan. He was born in Tricomalee, Sri Lanka and grew up there until the age of 16. Then he courageously made the decision to travel the world. During his travels he stopped in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he met the love of his life. He then went on and had three kids and lived a simple, happy life.

He was a man that lightened up the mood no matter the circumstance. It was almost as if you couldn’t take anything he said seriously, because of his sarcasm. He really knew how to put smiles on people’s faces and truly loved just seeing people he loved smile.

He was not only a hero to his family, but also to his country. He fought in a civil war for his home country. He will forever be a hero to our hearts. Although he has passed, he lives with all of us in our hearts now.
