It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt, Edith Pearl Smart who passed away February 1, 2023 at the age of 93.
Edith leaves to cherish her memory her children Linda (George) Ritter, Gary (Cathy) Smart, Allan (Dawn) Smart, 7 grandchildren; Shannon (Darren) Joy, Shawna (Ian) Burke, Angela Racich, Jason (Mandy) Smart, Tyler (Jen) Smart, Stephanie (Gordon) Covin and Tiffany (Darcy) Soussan, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister Florence, brothers Carl (Dolly) and George (Donna), sisters-in law Darlene McMillan and Leona Sim, brother-in-law Gene Loranger and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Arnold Howard Smart, her brothers John, Max, and Bob, and her sister Joyce.
A Funeral Service will be held at First United Church 10409 100 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan AB T8L 1Z3 on February 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
There will be a luncheon and time of fellowship following the service.
Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Edmonton, Alberta will follow the luncheon.
