SIDDALL, Lena Ann

-

It is with deep sadness that our family announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife, Lena Ann Siddall, who died due to complications from Covid-19 at the age of 89 years.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Siddall, two daughters Lori and Darci, two grandchildren Brittney (Jonathan) and Brian, one great-grandchild Aria, sister Delores (children Doug and Dana), and two sons-in-law Gus and Kevin.

Forever loved and very much missed.

Lena was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star. We would also like to thank the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for all the dedication and hard work they did trying to save her.

I’m so terribly sorry to hear of Lena’s passing. She was a very big part of my childhood and life as a young adult, as I spent much of my time with my grandmother Eleanor and great aunt Shirley, and they were both very close with their brother Tom and of course his wife, Lena. I remember Lee letting me play with her nail polish, and I’d would spend so much time obsessing over her amazing clothes, watching lots of movies, and fondly remember working in the garden and eating many summer meals on the back patio. I also used to regularly check in on her and Tom when I was done my shift working at the pharmacy nearby. We would occasionally go to lunch or even the movies with my aunt Shirley.
Lena was at my wedding shower, wedding, and baby showers for my children. She was my aunt in every way, and I will miss her.
I am broken hearted that we were not able to say goodbye, and wish her peace for all eternity.

Love,

Leah, Doug, Niyah, and Kai Seidl
