It is with much sadness and love that we say goodbye to our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend Shaun Neufeld, who passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the age of 14 years.

He is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his parents, Kathy and Wes; siblings, Tyler, Brandi and Halie; grandparents, David and Tina Loewen and Margaret Neufeld; aunts and uncles: Norman (Mary) Neufeld and their children: Blake, Dylan, Tamara, and Hannah; Clarence (Sarah) Neufeld and their children: Calbin, Roxanne (Mark), and Clayton; Sheila (Henry) Wolfe and their children: Derek (Janelle), Ryan (Carrie), Nathan, Preston, Terry and Dakota; Martha (Abe) Janzen and their daughter Chantelle; Frieda (George) Boehlig and their children: Jevon (Tanessa) and Kenton (Amanda); Irma (Henry) Fehr and their children: Jody (Jimmy), Jenna (Martin) and Kelly; Ernie (Joanne) Loewen and their children: Dyson and Tyra; Norman (Bev) Loewen and their children: Jordan (Emily), Derek, Brittany and Brady; Darlene (Dan) Derksen and their children: Marlena, Candice, Jared and Jordana; extended family and many friends.

Shaun was predeceased by his uncle Ed Loewen and grandpa Cornilius Neufeld.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Calvary Community Church, 8704 Mill Woods Road NW, Edmonton, with viewing an hour prior. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. After the burial, please join the family for fellowship in the church hall (approximately 4:00 pm) and for a Memorial Service at 5:30 pm at the church.

Memorial donations may be made in Shaun’s honour to the Kids With Cancer Foundation or the Children’s Wish Foundation.

i remember when me, you and kris got kicked out of Mrs.Inmans class for laughing and talking super loud while taking a reading test. so many amazing memories with you. i am truly blessed to have known you, youre extremely smart, nice, funny, outgoing, etc. missing you like crazy! love you lots Shaun. you’re in a better place now. you will never be forgotten.

I had only really got to know Shaun for a short time before he had to the hospital. He was always so happy never letting anything bring him down. He was never thinking about what could happen to him. He just lived in the moment in the time he spend. I feel like Shaun has shown us great things to take from his life. Just living the moment and all for God.
