BILAN, Sharon
On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Sharon of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta (manager of the Fort Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Legion) passed away peacefully with her family at her side.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Brian; two sons Keven (Connie), Conan (Vanessa); mother-in-law Iris; brothers Ched Simmons, Brian (Bev) Simmons and Neil (Jennie) Hawkins; also numerous other relatives and friends.
Sharon was predeceased by an infant son Joseph Chester, her parents Florence and Chester; brother Jerry Hawkins.
Sharon’s family would like to thank Dr. Stecyk, the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital, the Cross Cancer, Debbie Armstrong, Pastor Audrey Daley, Gord and Cindy Kadatz and the Legion for all their care and kindness shown to Sharon and her family.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Silverwing Dinning Lounge at the Fort Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Legion, 9964-93 Avenue at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute. Gord and Cindy Kadatz managing directors.
