BILAN, Sharon Diane
March 29, 1949 – February 7, 2014
Sharon Diane Bilan (Prebusheski, formerly Cox) late of Fort Saskatchewan, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on February 7, 2014 at the age of 64 years.
She is survived by her family; her loving husband of 22 years Joe, her children Brett (Cindy) Cox and their sons Beau, Carson, and Bobby; mother-in-law Eva Bilan; her brother Murray (Janet) and son Christian; sister-in-law Marie (Michael) Parkalub, Shirley (Mike) Borisko, Ron (Josephine) Bilan, Jerry (Clare) Bilan and Doug Cox and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father, and her infant daughter Sherri-Lynn.
Baba Sharon will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, her friendly and outgoing spirit – she loved to meet new people, especially on the many trips to Arizona; she valued being a good neighbor and always having a beautiful yard. In her life, she volunteered for many events and causes, loved her dogs, and will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a date to be announced in the spring – when the flowers are blooming and friends can meet together safely. If one would like, donations in Sharon’s memory are gratefully accepted to the SPCA at Edmonton Humane Society 13620 – 163 Street NW Edmonton, Alberta T5V 0B2 Gord and Cindy Kadatz managing directors.
