SHANKOWSKI, Peter

With a deep sense of sorrow and loss our family announces the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Peter Shankowski on April 3, 2021 at the age of 89.

Peter is remembered with love by his wife, Doris; daughters: Gail (Butch) and Elaine; son James (Melissa); his grandchildren: Jeffrey, Ryan, Cory, Cole, Mikayla and Marisa; great-grandchildren: Ayela, Jaycie, Nate and Crue; several nieces and nephews as well as the many lives he touched along the way.

Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions at this time a public mass gathering cannot be held however, a livestream of Peter’s Service will be available at https://distantlink.com/SerenitySG.html on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 am.

I will miss Grandpa very much. I will miss his humour, his sweet smile and his big hugs. I’ll never forget his inviting warmth and the way he looked so proud of all of his grandchildren.
