On August 8th, 2021, Gloria Jean Schneider (nee Walrath), age 75 of Sherwood Park, Alberta passed away suddenly at the University Hospital as a result of a brain hemorrhage. She was born on October 28th, 1945 in Edmonton, AB. Gloria and Val made their homes first in Red Deer and then spent 28 years in Saskatoon raising their three children. Upon retirement, Gloria and Val returned to Sherwood Park in order to be closer to family, and the friends that they had always kept close over the years.

Gloria was a loving grandmother, mother, and friend. She loved to travel, read, play cards, knit, and loved music. She was very involved with her church, playing the piano and the organ regularly. More than anything she loved spending time with her grandchildren playing games, teaching them to knit, watching them at their various activities, and holding them close.
