I was lucky enough to be her daughter in law for a short time. She was a wonderful mother in law and grandma to JT.

My sympathies to Aunty Gert’s children, grand children, great grand children and maybe great, great grand children. Her passing is a great loss to all of us. My memory of my Aunt was of an easy going, tolerant, wise woman who made sure to get some enjoyment from life. I will miss her.

Lauren Barton

My sincere sympathies to Glenda and her family. I remember Aunt Gert as a strong, no nonsense, hardworking person. I have fond memories of visiting at the farm, and enjoying Christmases together.
