SANSOM, Ida
1925 – 2021
Ida Sansom (Tattersall) of Edmonton Alberta, passed away October 16th, 2021 at the age of 95, after a brief illness. She was born on November 7, 1925 in England to the late Clifford and Eleanor Tattersall.
Ida chose nursing as a career while still in England as a young woman and continued nursing after she came to Canada until her retirement.
Ida is survived by her two daughters Audrey Sansom and Yvonne (Merle) Halkow, 4 grandchildren – Heather Perdue, Robin Gibson, Michael and Gina Sansom; 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson; her sister Yvonne Nowell of Yorkshire, UK, nephew Roger Nowell and nieces Kathy and Libby Nowell. She was predeceased by her brother Jim, husband Frederick, son Robert and grandson Jacob.
