Naundorf, Salome (Sally)
In the early hours of Saturday, February 4, 2017 Sally Naundorf of Fort Saskatchewan was called home at the age of 103.
She was a special lady with a beautiful smile, wrinkle-free skin, sparkly blue eyes and remaining forever young at heart. She was devoted to the well-being of others and generous with her giftedness in cooking, baking, canning and gardening. We will remember her strength, her unshakable faith, her zest for life and graceful acceptance of her each and every life-changing circumstance.
Sally is lovingly remembered by her son Victor Naundorf; two grandchildren, Darren (Joy) Naundorf and Debbie (Rodney) Cornelius; two sister-in-laws, Helen Naundorf and Marguerite Withers; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Sally was predeceased by her beloved husband Charlie; siblings Elsie (Rudolph) Repsch, Ernest (Marie) Helm, Arthur (Elsie) Helm and little Raymond Helm; parents, Friedrich and Lydia Helm.
A funeral service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church (20575 Twp Road 550, five miles east of Josephburg) on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
Special thanks to the caring staff and volunteers at Rivercrest Care Centre, Dr. Stecyk, pastoral visits by Rev. Vince Moore and Rev. Richard Williams, compassionate transport to appointments by Gary and Don of Fort Sask. Special Transportation Services Society and the caring support of Kandice.
