It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Rose Ann Froese at home on March 23rd, 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 65.
Rose is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Johanna Holzer and her sister, Dorothy St. Martin.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Del. After 14 years together, they were married on October 30th, 1999 and he was by her side in her final hours.
Rose will be greatly missed by her sisters Susie (Willie) and Judy (Fred), her children Jason (Alison), Jordan (Robyn) and Jana (Sime) and her grandchildren – Granville, Mackenzie, Lexie, Emelia, Hunter, Neeva, Avyn, Nolan, Noah and Drazen, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Rose was born in Westlock, Alberta on May 2, 1951. After leaving the family farm and many years of raising a family, Rose went back to NAIT and graduated from Business Administration in 1992 and went on to earn her designation of Certified General Accountant in 1996. She worked for the Canadian Revenue Agency up until her retirement. After her retirement, Rose enjoyed her winters in sunny Arizona, spending time with friends and family.
The funeral service for Rose will be held 3:00 on April 1, 2017 at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road in Edmonton with Steven Johann and Robert Peel officiating. Viewing will begin at 2:00 prior to the service, with reception after the service.
