Ronald Joseph Berg

It is with heavy hearts that Ron’s family announce his passing on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 76 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his devoted wife of 52 years, Karen; children, Todd (Monique), Lisa (Jerrad), Jaret (Milijana); his adored granddaughters, Danielle, Annick, Julie, Aimee and Halle.  He will be remembered by his brother, Aaron (Kathy) and sister, Lois, cousins, nieces, nephews, and the many friends made throughout the years.  Ron is predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Armandine Berg.

Ron enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast with friends.  He cherished our Family occasions at home and spending time with his friends at the lake.   He always made time to chat everywhere he went.

At Ron’s request no service will be held.  The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Stecyk, Dr. Pfeiffer, and all the staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their care and compassion.  For those who so desire, donations in Ron’s honour may be made directly to the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Foundation – 9430 95 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta T8L 1R8.

Norm and Judy Radomsky

Dear Karen, Todd, Jaret, and Lisa. We were so very sad to hear of Ron’s passing. He really was one of a kind. Norm has many good memories of times working with him and the boys. Lots of laughs and constructive times and a mentor as well. He always had a moment to visit regardless of how busy he was. We both have known him for many years. He was a ‘good guy’. We will miss him. Rest In Peace Ron.
