Ronald Edmund Hamilton

-

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Hamilton on September 26, 2015 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 74 years.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Arlene; daughter Colette (Brad); son Wes (Jocelyn); and five grandchildren: Kyle Mackenzie, Carter, Alexis, and Nicholas; two brothers Brian (Wendy) and Gordon (Linda); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Rosemary Hamilton. He will be remembered as a lifelong resident of Leduc who was an active community member through his 25+ years of service in the Leduc Lions Club and co-owner and operator of Leduc Draperies. His handyman skills were well known and appreciated, as was his garage that contained every needed tool that friends and family frequently came to borrow!

A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Black Gold Health Foundation (directed towards palliative care), 4210 – 48 Street, Leduc, AB T9E 5Z3.
