Bob was always a railroader – growing up near the tracks in Calder, working at CN for 35 years, and enjoying retirement restoring and maintaining the steam engine at Fort Edmonton. Bob, with tool bag slung over his shoulder, was always available for a visit and to work on a project whenever he could lend a hand. For generations, he was the chief fix-it guy on Sundance Beach, but always had time to take the kids for a water-ski and treat them to frozen treats.
Please join Bob’s family in a Celebration of his Life, to share stories and memories, on Thursday September 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada – AB & NWT at Suite 200 – 8944 182 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5T 2E3 or The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 10985 124 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5M 0H9
