I am missing you Robert on so many days. You were a great thought provoker (and still … through your art!). Inspiring and always listening. We expanded on our ideas through such mutual respect and curiosity that can really be best described as “brotherly love”. We tip-toed past trouble so much for such mystic rewards … I know that we have much left to investigate together. We shall meet again in the sunshine and in the peace and the open door of freed ideas. Your presence in my life is lasting a lifetime and more.

So sad you had to leave us so soon. May you rest in peace. Missing you but always in my heart.

We had a great tribute to you. Robert. Your family, extended family and a boat-load of friends….or maybe that was a clown-car full of friends showed up to say goodbye to you in their own special way. We played Pink Floyd. Barb did an amazing video honouring your life and everyone who spoke at your funeral spoke of your adventurous spirit, you crazy ways and just how much we will miss you being in our lives. The old gang went back to Kevin’s place….and as usual there was too much beer and way too much laughter and the telling of stories that could not have been shared in front of some of your earlier guests. Those were the best stories of all, because we knew you on a different level, the “career ruining” photos from our past level…..the stories that we, ourselves, had to paste together because we were all there but the details were sketchy. You were the reaon for many of our stries even happening. You were the original trouble maker and pied piper that we followed anywhere, because even if that meant we werre lost in the woods overnight, the sun would come up and we would always be okay. Yes we has a host of angels watching over us because we had no fear, but everyone needs a fearless visionary in their lives. Now we have someone who understands our restless natures, sparked by you 45 years ago, watching over us. Although I don’t think you are going to be an angel preaching any type of caution to us at all. Besdise, we all need a fearless visionary angel on our shoulders now, don’t we Robert?

I worked with Robert at Celanese, and fondly remember his kindness, sense of humour and his quick wit. Such a sad loss way too young.
My sincere condolences to his family, close friends and loved ones. RIP Robert, you will be missed.
