On Saturday January 3, 2015, Rita passed away peacefully at the age of 82.
Rita will be sadly missed, forever loved and remembered by her children: Margarette (Brent), Gary (Janice), Allen (Wynn), Pearl (Richard), Lorene and Rob (Char); her grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Ashley, Shane (Marcy), Jason (Twila), Daryn (Jana), Kyle and Craig (Erica); great-grandchildren Madison and Emmalee Rose; sisters Eva Green and Pearl Macnaughton; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rita was predeceased by her parents Max and Suzana Jacobi, son Larry, and son-in-law Jim.
It was Rita’s wish that there be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow at a later date.
A heartfelt thank you to the girls working on B Wing at Salem Manor for taking such good care of Rita. To Dr. Rankin and the nurses on Units 21 and 22, Leduc Community Hospital, thank you for the care Rita was given.
