Reynolds, Kathleen Angela Badgery

Kathleen Angela Badgery Reynolds passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017 in Stony Plain, Alberta. Family and all her treasured grandchildren were by her side to give her loving support as she entered her eternal sleep.

Kathy was born in Worcester, England on April 28, 1942. She immigrated to Alberta in 1969 where she has lived ever since. Stoke Rochford, England was where Kathy earned her teaching certificate, and then embarked upon a life-long teaching career that she took very seriously. Mrs. Reynolds earned respect for being a master teacher. For many years, Kathy considered herself fortunate to have the opportunity to influence the future through her work as an elementary teacher. There are countless children that she has positively nurtured in their early years of schooling and the family has enjoyed hearing stories of this influence.

Kathy was very much a private person. Consequently, her daughters are respecting her wishes to not have a funeral. For those who wish to reach her family, please send any cards of condolence to Box 11, Hughenden, Alberta, T0B 2E0 or leave condolences on this website.

If desired, donations in the memory of Kathy may be made to the World Wildlife Fund or Claine’s Church in Worcester, England.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Kathy
I’ve been trying to find Kathy for some years.
It is so sad that this was only possible in 2021.
Kathy was a lovely person. She was my best friend
at Claines Junior and our Secondary school.
I shall always remember the fun times we had together including falling in her fish pond and writing
a book of dances we made up in the playground.

So very sad to hear your Mom has passed. She was an energetic and conscientious teacher. All her students liked her. Where I got to know Kathy very well was when she joined the Darwell Recreation Association. Kathy introduced the Darwell Beautification. She got the ball rolling and over time some things have developed. We have new benches and flower pots around town. My family sends their deepest sympathies Lori Dyck Cody, Casey and Carmen.
