With much sadness we announce the passing of Raymond at his home on September 8 at the age of 85 years.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Enid, his children Wendy (Ron,) Chris, and Cameron (Heather). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Patrick (Angela), Brendan, Nolan, Maureen, Duncan, Dryden and his great grandchildren Kylan and Logan; also niece and nephews Rick, Hal, Sheilagh and Hugh.
Ray was a firefighter for the City of Edmonton for many years before purchasing the Marshall Wells hardware store in Leduc. He volunteered countless hours in the community including his church, the Leduc Food Bank, Scouts Canada, and the Leduc Lion’s club.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2014 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (4416-50 Street) in Leduc at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leduc and District Food Bank or the charity of one’s choice.
