Phil was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta 38 years ago.

With overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Phil MacBurnie, who died Jan 10, 2018 at age 60 years, from cancer.

Phil was predeceased by his father, Clayton and grandmother Lillian.

He is survived by his children: Amber (Jamie), Ashley (Clayton), Chris (Alli); grandchildren: James, Kadence, Jade, Autumn, Jayce; mother Margaret, sister Marlene, niece Shannon (Fara) and aunt Judy.
Phil was a hardworking drywaller who took pride in his work.

He will be missed by his family and many friends.

I am sorry to hear of Phillip’s passing . I am very proud to have known Phillip and as a teenager we had allot of great times. I was one of a group of friends from the Plains and Garland’s Crossing that spent a great deal of wonderful times together. I will miss him greatly and to his family I wish them all my deepest condolences. To his mother Margaret ( Mrs Macburnie as we would call her back then) and sister Marlene whom I spent time with in those early days hugs my friends and I hope to keep in touch.
