Philip Michael “Mike” Michaud

After a courageous fight with Glioblastoma Multiforme, Philip Michael “Mike” Michaud, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2018 with his beloved Linda by his side.

Mike leaves to mourn, his wife Linda Harris; his in-laws Ed Harris; George and Dora Harris; Diane May; Elisabeth Harris; and 6 siblings: Dennis (Shirley); Diane (Bernie); Rita (Harold); Ron; Jerry (Gail); Lorie (Lyle).   He also leaves to mourn his 4 godchildren; a wealth of nieces and nephews and blessed friends; and 3 fur babies.

Mike was predeceased by his parents Herve and Judy Michaud and his sister Jeannette.

Mike was a retired Director of Surveys, Alberta Government; Alberta Land Surveyor; Canada Land Surveyor and AB-BC Boundaries Commissioner.

Mike and Linda thank the Cross Cancer Institute and St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital staff for their compassionate care.  They also thank Ed Harris; Chantal and Wedge McWhorter; Val Davis; Rita Syrota; Diane May; Mary and Paul Michaud; and George Harris; without their unwavering support, this journey would have been so much more difficult.  There are too many others to name.

Per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
