Peter Dziedzic was an outstanding volunteer, whose unselfish dedication to the objectives of the organizations he served for more than 1,000 hours each year, is a testimony of his vision of His Lord, Jesus Christ. This devout individual shared his talents and resources at all levels and roles – from President for five years of the St. Josaphat Branch of the Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood of Canada (and numerous other roles, especially Fund Raising Chairman), to ongoing Pastoral Care volunteer support at various centres (especially at St. Michael’s Extended Care on a weekly basis), to performing chores at St. Josaphat Cathedral and Parish Hall. He was an angelic representative of the Brotherhood, highly motivated and involved in virtually all its endeavours, including intense participation in preparing the Ukraine Pavilion for Heritage Days; welcoming, greeting, cross-bearing, and ushering at Divine Liturgies, tributes, and celebrations; and was regarded as an ambassador and representative at numerous Eparchial public events. Peter’s integrity, good nature, generosity, strong work ethic, and love of God, guided his passion to serve the church, the community, and the country.
