PERDUE, Alma Lillian

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, and great
grandmother, Alma Lillian Perdue who passed away on January 1st, 2021 at the age of 86 years.

Alma was born on April 8th, 1934 in Notikewin, AB and spent her childhood in Keg River, AB. It was at

the lake.

Following completion of her schooling in Keg River, Alma moved to Calgary to obtain her
certification as an LPN. Upon graduation, she relocated to Edmonton where she met her future husband
William. They were married on July 16th, 1959 and settled in Edmonton.

Alma worked for over 30 years as an LPN, primarily in the maternity ward at the Royal Alexandria
Hospital. It was there that she lent a hand in the care of a generation, or more, of newborn babies
delivered at the ‘Alex through the 60’s,70’s and 80’s.

Alma is lovingly remembered by her brothers Clarence and Robert, children Carol (Frank), Michael,
