It is with much sadness and love that we say goodbye to our brother Bob, who died at the age
of 69, after a battle with cancer.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Cliff and Madeleine Pearce, and by his brother-in-law, Norm Bush. He is survived by his brothers Dave (Kathy), Rich (Michele), Jim (Doris) and John and his sisters, Donna and Barb (Kent).
Bob was born and raised in Edmonton where he participated in hockey and baseball in the Parkallen community and attended Strathcona Composite High School. Prior to his death, he owned and operated a successful retail carpet business in Edmonton for over 30 years.
Bob was a kind and generous person with a quick wit and mischievous sense of humor. He was a favorite uncle of his nieces and nephews. He was easily touched by people and had many friends with whom he shared his time, energy and resources. He found humour in everyday living and urged family and friends to keep a positive outlook on life.
Bob enjoyed salmon fishing on the west coast and winter vacations in Barbados.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
