Pauline Janette McLean

On January 13, 2020, with family by her side, Pauline quietly and peacefully passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joy Pedersen; son, Doug Pedersen; grandchildren, Leian, Kenneth, Angela, Amy and Aaron; and siblings Doris Jacobi, Al McLean and James McLean. Pauline will also be dearly missed by her great grandchildren and many, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pauline was predeceased by her son, Wayne Petersen, and daughter, Karen Petersen.

Pauline was born and raised on the family farm in Highvale, Alberta. She loved the country and especially enjoyed living in the mountains while in Grande Cache and the Yukon. She was kind-hearted and loved her family and friends dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Dr Gerald Zetter Care Centre, 9649-71 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr Gerald Zetter Care Centre and the University of Alberta Hospital for all their care and kindness.

Auntie Pauline was a wonderful aunt to me and my siblings growing up, and I have respect and admiration for her strength and kindness. I will treasure wonderful childhood memories of my beautiful Auntie Pauline. ❤️
