It is with great sadness the family of Paul George Gross announces his passing on March 14, 2020 at the age of 87.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Margaret; children Terry (Brenda), Dale (Michelle), and Janet; grandchildren Jennifer (Connor), Tamara (Alan), Sawyer, and Alexandra; great-grandchildren Pierce and Ivy; and nephews Ernie Reinhold and Dwight Chrebet. He was predeceased by parents George and Maria Gross; sisters Marie (Joe) Chrebet and Clara (Gerd) Reinhold; nieces Dorthy Botham, Alithia Wilke, and Margaret Quevillon; and nephew Alfred Reinhold.
Paul’s career spanned many years, first as a farmer and school bus driver, later embarking on a long career as a Greyhound bus driver. From an early age, Paul had a passion for sports, eventually focusing on softball and curling. Even more important than the sports themselves were the many close and lasting friendships that were formed. Paul loved the outdoors – especially fishing and hunting – as well as a fondness for travel.
