ERIKSSON, Dr. Paul
Paul Eriksson was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan and died on November 21 at the St. Albert Sturgeon Community Hospital at the age of 87. He was ordained into the Lutheran Ministry in 1952. In 1974 he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. Before retirement he was assistant professor and Director of Field Education at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Saskatoon. He is predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Herbert and Vernon; daughters Nora and Christine; and granddaughter Malaika. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Gay; siblings Helen, Ruth and Harold; daughters Ann (Gary) and Beth (Tim); sons Ronald (Lisa) and Douglas (Shari), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A MEMORIAL service will be held at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 11223 – 51 Ave NW, Edmonton on Wednesday, 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Lutheran Theological Seminary, Saskatoon; Canadian Lutheran World Relief; or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
