Born Galahad, Alberta – December 12, 1959
Died Edmonton, Alberta – January 12, 2020
Pat grew up ninth in a family of eleven siblings and loved them dearly.
Gentle and easygoing, he willingly and generously shared his talents with many. Rarely one to react, he was a stable quiet force, balanced and filled with compassion. Pat loved keeping busy with projects and was very organized. Be it building a deck for friends, doing home renovations, gardening with neighbours, shovelling snow or picking up groceries and cooking a meal for family, there was little Pat wouldn’t joyfully do to support others. The centre of our universe, his kindness touched us all.
Pat’s big passion was for music. In his quiet way he had a big impact on others. Teaching guitar, working over the years with his customers and staff at Axe, Mother’s, Genesis, Production World, and Matrix Communications, he loved being with people. Pat also played in numerous bands, most recently with Blood Moon Crazy. His presence is already missed in the music community.
Pat is survived by his wife Karen, sons and daughter – Kyle, Corey (Emily) and Danielle; his siblings – Michael (Miriam), MaryAnn, Paul, Anita (Larry Annand), Cecilia, Theresa (Paul Belter), Helen (David McKinnon), Rita (Gerry Bulmer), brother-in-law David Bolduc and sister-in- law Joyce Lencucha, 19 nieces/nephews and 16 great nieces/nephews.
Pat was predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Ricca, first wife Sherry & daughter Megan, sister-in-law Avra (Teplitsky) Lencucha, sister Margaret Bolduc & brother Joe.
A music tribute in honour of Pat will be held at Shaker Roadhouse, Edmonton, January 24, 2020. A private family celebration to be held at a later date.
