It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Sharon Hope Kozoway Parrano on January 15, 2021 at the age of 68.
Sharon will be forever remembered by her daughters Candis Lavigne (Brad) and Keri Parrano (Corey Hoyme); sister Vivian Berry (Mark); nieces, nephew, and their children Heather Clarke (Bill), Krista Berry, Michael Berry (Tara); as well as many other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years David and her parents John & Olga Kozoway.
Sharon truly defied the odds battling with Cerebral Palsy and many other trials and tribulations throughout her life. Even so, her outlook on life was always very positive. She was a shining light in the many lives she touched.
“She will forever be in our hearts, our thoughts, and especially in our prayers”.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre for their kindness, support, and care shown to Sharon during the past 18 years.
In Sharon’s memory, memorial donations are gratefully accepted at the Cerebral Palsy Association or Ronald McDonald House Charities.

I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I spent almost all my summers. At my grandparents farm, Olga and Joe Bencharsky and spent so much time with her. One of my fondest memories was when the “Beatles” were first on The Ed Sullivan show, we screamed until we lost our voices. Much love to all, fondly, Judy
