PANIK, Paul Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Martin Panik on April 22, 2021 at the age of 31.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his mother and father Joanna and Pavel Panik, common-law spouse Priscilla, sisters Monika and Milena, brothers-in-law Dave and Wojtek, and nieces Nicole and Scarlett.

He enjoyed doing many things such as hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and pastimes with friends and family.

As a person, he will be remembered by the sheer pleasure of his company, and how people that knew him were always free to be themselves in his presence.

A Mass will be held on May 1, 2021 at Holy Rosary Parish at 9:30 am, followed by a burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery at 11:30 am.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of support that they have received during this difficult time.

Paul’s gift to us was himself. Our children grew up in the Lake District with Paul. How can anyone who knew Paul not remember his good, smile, his ambition and his caring nature and yes humour. Paul left an impression everywhere he would go, even from the age of 5 years old. I still remember his pride when he talked about going hunting with his Dad or to work with him. I want to acknowledge those in his life from the early years, as all formed the man he became and we all loved. I miss and cherish your gift Paul to my children of sharing your life. To Paul’s Dad and Mom, and sisters , thank you for making Paul’s time so amazing for him. Know he spoke to me when I lived beside you often and with proudness. He loved you all very much. The after shock of Paul is brutal on all. I thank and cherish the gift of my family of having Paul in our life. I pray you are in “ the good place”. I also pray we all be united with you again in paradise.
