Vivian was a kind hearted soul, she was loved by all that knew her. She retired in June of 2010 after working 30 plus years in the banking industry. She loved nothing better than to spend the mornings doing her crosswords from the daily paper or spending an afternoon with Lois or her nieces playing a game of bingo. She enjoyed quiet days at home watching the game show and I.D. channel, walking her dog Freddie until his passing in 2020 then adopting a cat named Cali. Vivian enjoyed any and all visits she had with her sister Margaret “Lillian”, her nieces and nephews and all family and friends that would stop by.

A visitation will be held Friday February 25, 2022 from 7:00-9:00 pm and the service will be Saturday February 26, 2022 at 10:00 am at Serenity Funeral Services, North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave, Edmonton, AB T5G 0X9. So sorry to hear of Aunt Vivian’s passing. We didn’t see her very often , as we lived so far apart, My memories of her as a kid when she came to visit us in Sioux Lookout was she was the cool Aunt from the city . I had some conversations with her on the phone a few times. When her & her sisters came to our mom’s, Dorothy’s funeral, it really meant a lot. Our condolences to you and your family Dwain, May she rest in peace, Donna & Larry Hoey(Mosher)

We are so sad to hear of Aunt Vivians passing. Sending our deepest condolences to Dwain and all of her friends and family during this very difficult time. The photo is beautiful and that’s how I remember her. She was a very sweet person who always had a smile and a kind word to share. I regret not keeping in touch with her over the years. She is definitely surrounded by her loved ones in heaven. She is at peace.

Our Condolences to you and your family. I always enjoyed my conversations with Aunt Vivian. We did not speak often, but when we did speak, it was for one or two hours. She was a kind person. Reminded me so much of my mother. I am sure they are together again in heaven along with the rest of the family. She will be missed.

What I remember the most about Aunt Vivian is her kind heart. Despite the lapse in years prior to meeting Aunt Vivian and Uncle Bill, she immediately enfolded my daughter and I into her family circle, and from that day forward we shared a mutual loving Aunt/Niece relationship. I will miss our long “chats”, but most of all I will miss my Aunt Vivian. May she now rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Dwain, We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s (Aunt Vivian’s) passing. Her love for her family had no bounds. When I last spoke to her (although nearly 2 years ago now) struggling then to speak, she asked about me and the rest of her Ontario families. Her struggles are over, may she now rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Aunt Vivian’s laugh is what I will remember most. It is sad that distance kept us from really knowing each other. She will live on in our memories.
