Oscar, Rose Blanche

It is with profound sadness that the family of Rose Blanche Oscar announces her passing at the age of 76 years.

She will lovingly be remembered by her children Dwayne Oscar (Kim), Douglas Oscar (JoAnn), Shelley Neider (Danny), and Sidney Oscar (Madonna); grandchildren Samantha, Sadie, Michael (Pauline), Kaidence, and Courtlyn; siblings Paul Plamondon (Gladys), Dennis Plamondon, Louise Cyca (Armand), Jules Plamondon, and Frances Loch (Terry); as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jim.

Loving wife, dearest mother, grandmother, sister, relative, and friend to so many others. You are forever in our hearts and souls, and you will be missed dearly.

In light of the escalating health crisis, travel restrictions and government guidelines, the family has had to accept that we are currently unable to give Rose the send-off that she deserves.  Cremation is scheduled to take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (5241 Calgary Trail NW #144, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8 or www.heartandstroke.ca)

Sending my sincere condolences to the family.
I moved in New Sarepta in 1999 and I met Rose when her and hubby had the gas station. Being a French Canadian speaking from Quebec and was having a bit of problem speaking English at the time , what a joy for me to find out that Rose knew French! So until she left town it was a ritual for me to stop regularly to socialize with her! I will always remember her as a very nice & generous person ❤️

Rose was one of the first people I met when I moved to Rollyview. She was always so kind. My condolences Sidney and family.

Rose and I have called each other on ‘our’ birthday every single year since I was a little girl, I will certainly miss that but be sure I will still send those happy birthdays all the way up there every year ❤️

My deepest condolences to all of you. Rose was a wonderful person, and the very first person I met when Ken and I moved to New Sarepta. I would walk Jennie to school then go back home down the main road so that Rodney and I could stop in at the gas station and talk to her every morning. I am so very sorry
