HANDFIELD-OLSTAD, Leanne
1974 – 2022
Leanne Lousie Handfield-Olstad passed away suddenly on January 3, 2022 in a tragic accident. She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, her mother Joanne, her brother Jason (and family), her daughter Kayla. Leanne’s family takes comfort knowing she is joining her father, Fern, and her daughter, Charissa, in heaven. Passionate about academia, Leanne finished two degrees to understand humanity: the good and, especially, the bad. Talented and bold, Leanne created works of art that made her home feel welcoming. Not only will family and friends miss Leanne dearly, but the Town of Beaumont will not be the same without her.
Charissa Aura-Leigh Olstad
1997 – 2022
Charissa Aura-Leigh Olstad passed away tragically on January 3, 2022. She was the girl who was boldly herself, loved everything purple & shiny, and grew up dancing with BSSD in Beaumont. Charissa was a third year student at Grant MacEwan University studying psychology with honourable success. Predeceased by her grandfather, Fern Handfield, her family takes comfort knowing they are now reunited. Charissa leaves behind her father, Bruce, her partner, Nick, her sister, Kayla (Jordan), her grandmothers, Joanne and Lucille, and her two uncles: Jason (and family) and Joe (and family). Charissa, you are forever loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten.
